Beall Center Museum!!!

Here arriving at the Beall Center Museum with just me and Keno.  This was last week on Wednesday 11/30/11.

I really liked the background here.  The graffiti is an awesome type of artwork. I really disagree when people think its just vandalism.  But if it werent being done as a crime and on an appropriate wall it wouldnt be considered vandalism!

This was the coolest part of the museum I thought.  Different colored lights really attract my eyes and they mixed it with a different style of art.  It really looks awkward in this picture but if it was live it would feel different seeing this room.

Here again is some nice graffiti.  People are allowed to use the computers there :)

Photography Proj.

So the day started with carpooling with my buddy Andrew to my friend Keno's house.

Here were some of the pics i took of the sun while I was on La Palma Ave.

This was a pic of Subway because I love healthy food!  My diet food is all about Subway.  Buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite!

Here we are just barely entering the freeway and Keno is finally with us.

This here I was trying to capture the 5 South freeway sign.

Here I liked the trees and the view of me in the side mirror of Andrew's car :)

I liked how the sun was really bright here but it was still a chilly day.  Probably around 68 degrees.

These were some random palm trees I liked.

I took a picture of how our freeway side was not traffic but the other side going our opposite way is super traffic.

This was pretty cool to me because it was on UCI's campus.  I barely see fruit being grown in school campuses.  And these oranges even looked like they are ready to be eaten.  Yummy!!!!

I took this picture because this is the time we were heading home from our road trip.  I wanted to show a reflection of me also in purpose :p

Day at Bowers Museum

So I went to the Bowers Museum to capture some photos of some interesting artwork.

I pretty much saw lots of historical artworks of different cultures.  In my perspective the one below is an African child herding some animals.  Its probably a cattle.  It seems as this poor child is doing chores.  This captured my eye because of the shading and the background shows some details of the painting from a further view.  He did that so well and that is why I liked it.

This picture below are some tools African used.  I am not sure if I am right but its just seems as if these tools were the African culture.  The clothing, tools for herding, and other anonymous things that I dont really know what it was used for but it got my attention.

This soul boat I found really awesome because it seems like the boat was structured that you could put in the lake and it would actually float.  What was cool was what the boat carried.  It carried many ancient passengers and it was too bad I didnt get to take a pic of boat from a different view.

NO ELECTRICITY!!!

So it was a pretty boring day without electricity.  I started when i woke up on Saturday 12/3/11 at 10 am.  I woke up and pretty much ate a quick breakfast.  I ate a bowl of cereal and went back to sleep.  I finally fully woke up around 2 in the afternoon.  I just played with my dog and walked him till 3.  I went home again and layed down and did my homework till 7.  I found myself starving because I only had that bowl of cereal and I couldnt use the microwave to heat up leftovers.  So for food I ate lots of chips, cookies and candy.  I then ran to the gym without driving so I could have some cardio.  I got to the gym and lifted weights.  I ran back home back home and felt nasty.  But still not breaking the rule, I just changed in my sleeping clothes and went to sleep.  I turned off  my computer and cell phone just incase I would get tempted.  I then went to sleep and woke up starving.  The first thing I did was turn my phone on and saw so many unread text messages.  Overall, I hated that day and I will never wanna experience it again.

last week's class

Last week in class we watched a movie about an ex soldier from the military coming back to his old life as a stock broker.  His wife is begging him to come back to his job because he has been taking a break for four weeks.  He chooses to follow a different path in life.  He quits his job and leaves his wife.  Later on he finds another girl that he engages but she gets killed by his ex wife.  She then said "You took my husband away."  That is what we focused on to get into our lesson.

Potluck and videos

Last week's class was probably one of the funnest days.  I walked in the room and I see the food in the middle of the room.  I brought cookies to class that I bought from Staters.  My friend Andrew brought chips, and Keno brought a party platter and cupcakes, and another friend of mine name Susan brought pbj sandwiches.  We had some fun creating videos and pigging out on food.  Glen even made videos with our group.  At the end, Glen let us off early and I went home.  Hopefully we would have more days like this later on the semester!
